How do you protect my personal information?

Vettikart use the latest security & encryption technology & fraud detection when you place your order online with us. This is done to protect our customers from unauthorized use of information. Individual information such as name, address, telephone numbers and email address are used for maintaining your account and for providing information on vettikart products and services. These data is held in the greatest assurance. When you place the order, vettikart ask you to provide information including your name, address, email. We do not use or release any credit card or financial information for any purpose.

Why you need the email address?

The email address provided for order processing is used to send you the information and updates relating to your order or request, in addition to receiving updates, promotions, related product or service information. Vettikart won’t give/sell your email address to any other company for marketing purposes. Note: At any time, if you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, then each emails included a link to unsubscribe.

Will you offer better pricing than your competitor?

Vettikart always want to make sure that you get the lowest price on your purchases. Notify our customer care service (91-9444 111 062) with competitor price on a similar product for us to validate and execute your order with a better price. Vettikart guarantees low price for identical products from the same manufacturers. This offer is restricted only to competitors advertised products which can be verified and validated by Vettikart. Price does not include shipping and handling charges. Vettikart low price guarantee does not include items sold on auctions, used products and from private sellers. Vettikart reserves the right to refuse the offer that cannot be verified.

What payment methods does Vettikart accept?

Vettikart accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, mobile payments and all other major cards. Orders may also be purchased with EMI (Equated monthly instalments), certified check, money order & personal check.

Customers sending in their orders with a check or money order should be sure to calculate and include applicable taxes and shipping costs of the order in the check total. Orders paid by check will be held for approximately two weeks for check clearance. Any overpayments will be refunded promptly. Shipping charges will be added automatically to credit card or online orders while you ordering.

What if the product I ordered is backordered or out of stock?

Sometime stock shortages do occur. Products may become out of stock if,

  • Product demand gets higher than expected.
  • Item is backordered by the manufacturer due to a shortage of parts or for other reasons.
  • Transportation interrupted, natural disasters such as floods etc.

If an item is valued at 100 INR or the item that is placed on backorder will be shipped when new stock arrives unless instructed by the customer not to do so. Backorders are shipped to you by best ethod (usually FedEx ground shipping). No additional shipping fees is required.

Why was my backorder cancelled?

If ordered is placed using PayTm as payment method then your backorder may be cancelled if Vettikart doesn’t receive the item from manufacturer in warehouse within 3 business days. We apologize for any inconvenience. we suggest to place order using credit card or Debit card as your payment method If you don’t want your backordered items gets cancelled after 3 days.

After 30 days on backorder Vettikart will reach out to you to check if you are still interested in waiting for the product. At this point, order will be cancelled & money will be refunded if we do not hear from you within 7 days. All orders will be cancelled & money will be refunded after 60 days on backorder.

How to ensure that I am ordering what I need?

Our sales staff is available during business hours to guide about the products we sell. Please call our customer service before ordering if you are unsure about items you looking for.

How to reorder products I've bought in the past?

You can easily reorder products you've purchased in the past with our reorder feature.

  • Simply log in to your account
  • Click ""My Account"" at the top of the page.
  • Find the link to reorder items under ""Orders"".

When you click the link, a list of products you’ve bought under your account online will appear. Add the needed items to your cart and proceed with your order.

Why my card was charged twice or the funds are unavailable in my account?

Any modification on orders that are being already processed may lead to charged twice and funds to be temporarily unavailable on your account. Please ask your banking customer service if you have queries. We are not responsible for bank charges or fees that may be incurred due to temporarily unavailable funds.

Can I return an item if I'm not satisfied?

We hope that you are satisfied with products purchased from Vettikart. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact our Customer Care Service. You may return any unused product, within 2 days for a full replacement of the item’s purchased. In the event an item you receive does not meet your needs or expectations, you may return it providing:

  • The item and original display package must both be in new condition.
  • All parts, accessories, warranty cards, instructions etc. must be enclosed and unchanged.
  • Item was purchased within 2 days of return.

You must attain ""Return Authorization Number"" from a Customer Care Service Representative (91 9444111062) before returning any purchased product. We are unable to accept returns on clearance items. Returns & Credits are subject to the discretion of Vettikart..

What should I do if a product arrives damaged?

If your product arrives damaged, please contact our Customer Care Service to report the damage. We must be notified on same day of the order’s arrival to ensure proper handling of your claim. Some transporting / courier service companies require that a representative inspect the damaged package. Please keep the original packaging, and do not discard the shipping box until the claim is processed or you are otherwise instructed.

In some situations, damaged goods may need to be shipped back to us. please attain a ""Return Authorization Number"" (call 91 9444111062) and follow the shipping instructions for returning unwanted, damaged, or defective merchandise.

What if Item is defective or becomes defective shortly after using it?

If item is defective on arrival or becomes defective within 7 days from the day you receive the product, please notify our customer care service and follow their instructions. Vettikart reserves the right on replacement of the defective product.

How can I return damaged/defective product?

Please contact our Customer Care service & notify us before returning it. Most manufacturers allow us to accept returned defective merchandise, but some require that the customer return the product directly to them. Always read the manufacturer's warranty included with the product when you unpack it.

We require a copy of your invoice as a proof of purchase if a decision is made by Vettikart to replace the product. Be sure to secure all parts, instructions, warranties, etc. that arrived with the product in their original condition. Vettikart does not take ownership of replacement of products that are damaged due to mishandling of products while unpacking.

How/when my order will be shipped?

Most of our products are directly shipped from our warehouse in chennai. There are some products which will be shipped by manufacturers. Products are packed by our staff in warehouse and ships orders Monday through Saturday. Most orders leave the warehouse within the same or next business day. Orders that are placed on Sunday will be shipped on next business day (Monday)

Fedex is used to ship most of the orders unless otherwise specified during the ordering process. We all uses courier service from Bludart, Gatti for some of the merchandise.

Will the item's size effect shipping cost?

In some case products classified as oversized because of weight or measurement/Dimension may require additional shipping charges. These orders may be excluded from free shipping promotions. How can I ship to address different from Billing address?

If you wish to receive your ordered product to an address that is different from the billing address you provide us, simply enter the delivery address in the Ship To Information page during Checkout.
